About the board

The board was created on August 4, 2025, by Executive Order 25-03 to strengthen the County's ability to respond to complex public safety challenges by providing the County Executive with advise supporting an integrated approach to addressing crime prevention, emergency response, preparedness, and resource coordination, thereby enhancing public trust, improving service delivery, and ensuring a more holistic review of public safety issues facing Harford County.
