The State's Attorney's Office investigates and prosecutes criminal cases at the trial level. State's attorneys work with police to develop cases, present them to the Grand Jury and try cases in the Circuit, District or Juvenile Court.

Traffic Calming
Traffic calming is the term used to describe the county's efforts to reduce the impact of traffic on neighborhoods, most typically, speeding. Requests for a traffic study can be submitted to Glen Hebel, engineer with the Division of Highways, at gchebel@harfordcountymd.gov.
