Landscaping completion date: Spring 2024
Harford County has constructed two stormwater retrofits and a stream restoration at this location. The purpose of the project is to improve stream health by stabilizing eroding stream banks and stabilizing failing stormdrains.
Additionally, this project will improve water quality by converting an existing stormwater pond into a submerged gravel wetland. A submerged gravel wetland is an infiltration practice that is designed to treat stormwater runoff. The existing infiltration trench is also proposed to be enlarged for stormwater treatment.
