Grant In Aid

The purpose of the Grant In Aid program is to enhance the ability of public and private sector organizations to provide human services and address the resource needs of these organizations that strive to meet the emergency and daily needs of the citizens of Harford County.

The organizations receiving grant funds from Harford County will enter into an agreement with the county.  All grantees must comply with financial and programmatic procedures and submit required forms.

Funding Requirements
Qualifying applicants must:

  • Be incorporated as non-profit, tax exempt organizations, 501(c)(3)
  • Primarily serve the low to moderate income and able to provide documentation on who is served
  • Provide human services
  • Be soundly managed and financially accountable and provide proof thereof
