Stream Restoration

Stream restorations are conducted to improve the environmental health of the stream, support biodiversity, recreation, flood management, and increased bank and channel stability.  

Restoration efforts generally employ natural materials such as rocks, logs, and native vegetation to reduce pressure on eroded banks and provide long-term protection while respecting and maintaining the streams natural environment.
