Bill Inquiry and Payment Options

Payments can be made as follows:

Tax, Assessment or Water & Sewer Electronic payments - Please use the Property Bills Search link to pay your Tax, Assessment or Water & Sewer bills.
Telephone payments - For tax payments please call 1-844-836-9732; for Water & Sewer payments please call 1-888-288-5609.
Mail payments - Harford County Dept. of the Treasury at 220 S. Main Street, Bel Air, MD 21014. Please provide a phone number and address on all payments.
Drop box (check or money order payments) - Located on the Bond Street side of the building at 220 S. Main Street. Please provide a phone number and address on all payments. No cash payments will be accepted at this time.
Lien sheet payments - Harford County will accept Lien sheet payments via the mail or electronically through the County website. These documents will be forwarded by mail or e-mail based on the designation of the submitter.
Deed submissions - Harford County will accept Deed submissions via locker drop-off during normal business hours, the mail, or electronically through Simplifile at www.simplifile.com, or by calling 1-800-460-5657. Documents are available for pick up from our locker system during normal business hours or the County will inter-office mail the documents to the Clerk of the Circuit Court.

HARFORD COUNTY ELECTRONIC PAYMENTS

As part of our commitment to provide citizens with efficient, convenient services, Harford County, Maryland has partnered with a third-party payment provider to offer electronic payments over the Internet or by telephone. The third-party provider will assess a convenience fee each time you utilize their service to make Tax and Assessment payments by credit/debit card. Harford County accepts Visa®, MasterCard®, and Discover® credit cards and electronic checks.
