Alison Imhoff, LCSW-C, is a mom, wife, and a lifelong resident of Harford County and District B. She earned a Master's in Social Work from University of Maryland- Baltimore, with a dual concentration in Management & Community Organizing, as well as Clinical Therapy with Families and Children.

She has spent much of her career working in both public and non-public school systems, as well as leading several teams working with survivors of violence.

Alison and her husband are raising their girls on their generational family farm. In 2024, the farm was recognized as one of Harford County’s Legacy Farms for its more than 100 years of operation.

Prior to joining the Harford County Council, Alison was appointed as the Chair of the Harford Commission for Women, having served for over 5 years.  She has also been an active member of the ARC of Northern Chesapeake’s Standing Committee since 2018, a member of the Harford County Public Schools Family Life Advisory Committee since 2023 and was on the Police Accountability Board since its inception.

Alison was taught at an early age the importance of community advocacy and being a fair and consistent leader, and is honored to represent the community in which she grew up in.
