Title: Senior Budget Analyst


A ninth-generation Harford Countian, Ben Lloyd grew up in Churchville, where he worked on local farms from a young age. He is a 1998 graduate of C. Milton Wright High School and holds a bachelor of arts in political science from Towson University (2002) and a master of public policy from UMBC (2005).  

Mr. Lloyd has worked for Harford County Government since 2007, serving in a number of different roles including agricultural marketing specialist, deputy chief of staff for intergovernmental relations, chief of citizens’ affairs, and most recently senior budget analyst.  

Mr. Lloyd, lives in the Norrisville area with his wife, Calla, a public school teacher, and their son, Evan.  He is an elder at Slate Ridge Presbyterian Church in Cardiff, and since 2014 has served as president of the Harford Land Trust, a nonprofit land preservation organization.
