When to Call 911

Dial 911 only in cases where you need immediate response in an emergency situation. Below is a chart that will help you decide whether  to call 911.

If it’s impossible or unsafe to talk on the phone, you may be able to text to 911. Calling 911 is still the best way to get help. So, call if you can, text if you can’t.
