Providing opportunities to the citizens of  Harford County, Maryland to obtain and maintain safe, decent and sanitary housing suitable to their immediate and long range needs.

The Harford County Housing Agency is included in the Executive Branch of Harford County Government pursuant to Section 413 of the Charter of Harford County and Section 9-189 of the Harford County Code. 

Administration of the housing programs and the functions of the Agency staff meet the personnel policy of the Agency and local government and the Equal Opportunity Plan.  All federal, state and local housing laws comply with Fair Housing Regulations.
