    Eden Mill Nature Center presents Kids in Kayaks for ages 10 through 13. American Canoe Association instruction! Participants will love this safe boating and basic skills course in kayaking! PFD's, boats and paddles included, along with patient guided instruction in stokes and maneuvers for younger paddlers. Class size is limited to 6 participants so register early! The fee for the course is $70. Courses will be offered May 17, May 24, June 13, June 21, or August 22 from 10:00am-2:00pm. Organized groups by request! Pre-registration is REQUIRED.

Two days of skills refinement, advanced self and group rescue, kayak maneuvers, trip planning, safety, wind and wave practice, new strokes and new vistas. You MUST have your own kayak with aft and for bulkheads or floatation bags installed - no loaner boats available. You must have complete an Intro to Kayak course as a pre-requisite. Bring a lunch and plan to get wet. Pre-registration IS required.

    NEW! Join us EVERY Wednesday at 3:00pm in the nature center to feed our critters. Take a turn feeding one of the turtles or fish! The snakes may need some exercise and handling time as well! There is no fee for this program. Open to everyone :)
