After nearly a year of hard work, the Comprehensive Zoning Code Work Group assembled by Harford County Executive David R. Craig, has revised and updated the Harford County Zoning Code.  This massive undertaking had not been approached in more than a quarter of a century.

     Delivery of the updated code proposals carries out a promise made by County Executive Craig when he took the oath of office as County Executive in August of 2005.  At that time he pledged that Harford County would be more effective in managing growth.

         The zoning code proposals, will now be formally reviewed and acted upon by the Harford County Council beginning on Tuesday, August 19th.
