Recycling Education & Outreach

Have you ever wondered what happens to the recyclables after they are picked-up at the curb? Looking to learn more about the benefits of recycling? Need help motivating others to participate in a recycling program?

The Office of Recycling is available to assist you! To schedule a recycling presentation for your Harford County school, business or community organization, please call 410-638-3417.

The engaging presentation takes recycling from the curb to the materials recovery facility and beyond! Harford County's Integrated Solid Waste Management program which includes waste reduction, recycling, composting, incineration and land filling will also be explained.

Additionally, program participants will discover how their choices and actions play a critical role in conserving our natural resources and landfill space.

The Office of Recycling is willing to work with groups to present a program that meets the specific needs of your audience.
